The site comprised a multi-tenanted industrial estate on 7 acres and was strategically acquired on a piecemeal basis over a number of years.

After considerable dialogue with the local community and the local planning team at Sutton, the site was identified within the Core Strategy as suitable for a residential led mixed use redevelopment. Planning consent was obtained through negotiation for 100 new homes and 30 apartments.
